UGA Study Abroad Program Director's Manual

For information on running a program, please consult the UGA Study Abroad Program Director's Manual (PDF).

Program Staff Agreements

Anyone in a position of authority on a UGA education abroad program, including graduate and teaching assistants, must complete the Program Staff Agreement by clicking the button below:

Student Withdrawal

Upon receiving a request in writing from a study abroad participant requesting to withdraw from the program, Program Director withdraws the student from the program in the GoAbroad Portal.  Program Director notifies student to drop (or withdraw) from both the academic and SABD courses in Athena (prior to the end of Add/Drop and/or withdrawal deadlines available here: http://www.reg.uga.edu/academicCalendar2016-2017). Program Director notifies student of the percentage of the Program Fee and the exact amount to be charged to the student based on the UGA Education Abroad Program Fee Refund Policy.

For more detail, view the Procedure to Request a Refund due to Student Drop or Withdrawal Prior to Study Abroad Departure (PDF).
